Domestic Research Division

IMPAQ’s Domestic Research Division, based at our corporate office in Columbia, Maryland, supports the work of more than 50 researchers engaged in a wide variety of projects for the Federal government.  The majority of our Domestic Research staff holds advanced degrees (Masters or Ph.D. degrees) in such fields as economics, public policy, public health and health policy, statistics, computer science, psychology, sociology, and anthropology.

Our Domestic Research Division evaluates the impact of government programs and policies, conducts applied research studies, collect and analyzes program and administrative data, and provides technical assistance to grant and demonstration programs located throughout the United States.

Currently, our Domestic Research Division has two major practice areas – Labor/Human Services and Health Care.  Our staff is divided evenly among the two practice areas.
