Dr. Abigail Woodroffe is a Research Associate at IMPAQ International with more than 10 years of designing and analyzing large-scale healthcare studies.
Dr. Woodroffe currently serves as Project Director on two Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) projects: the Plan Finder Data Audit, to determine the completeness and accuracy of data on the healthcare.gov Plan Finder website, and the Medicare Payment Validation and Error Support (PVE) project, to validate the Part C and Part D payments made by CMS. Also for CMS, Dr. Woodroffe provides analytic and programming support on the quality domain of the Comprehensive End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Care model evaluation. Dr. Woodroffe has served in management roles as technical and project leads and has substantial experience with both oral and written presentations of findings.
Dr. Woodroffe has significant experience conducting evaluations for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). She recently served as the Principal Investigator for the evaluation of Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) pilot program Project ARCH (Access Received Closer to Home) assessing the utilization, access, cost, satisfaction, and process of the project. She was also a lead analyst on a comprehensive evaluation of VA’s mental health program. Additionally, Dr. Woodroffe has been analytic and task leads on projects for the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
Prior to joining IMPAQ, Dr. Woodroffe was a Senior Analyst at Altarum Institute.
Dr. Woodroffe earned her Ph.D. in Epidemiology and her M.S. in Biostatistics from the University of Michigan.
