Ms. Jody Dougherty

Ms. Jody Dougherty is IMPAQ’s Director of Survey Data Collection of the Survey Division. She provides leadership in all aspects of data collection, survey design, survey operations, quality assurance, and project management. This includes oversight of our Columbia Call Center, as well as our online, mobile, and mail survey data collection.

Expertise

Ms. Dougherty’s work has focused on managing and implementing survey research studies. Her expertise is in operations and project management, quality assurance, and process improvement to support high quality data collection and limit study participant burden. Ms. Dougherty’s experience includes designing and conducting multi-mode projects as well as developing systems and processes which support survey research demands and requirements. She has worked on national studies conducting activities such as proposal writing, survey design, overseeing various types of data collection, and the recruitment and training of data collection and survey project staff. 

Clients

Ms. Dougherty has more than 25 years of experience working with a wide range of clients including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Department of Labor, National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, Social Security Administration, Bureau of Labor Statistics, National Institute of Mental Health, National Institute of Aging, and Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining IMPAQ, Ms. Dougherty was the Director of Data Collection Operations at the University of Michigan’s Survey Research Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She also has held similar positions at Michigan State University’s Office for Survey Research in East Lansing, Michigan and NORC in Chicago, Illinois. She also worked within the Field Division at the U.S. Census Bureau in support of Decennial activities.

Education

Ms. Dougherty has a B.A. in Political Science from Michigan State University.
