Ms. Kristi Merritt

Ms. Kristi Merritt is IMPAQ’s Vice President of the Communications Solutions Division. Ms. Merritt has more than 20 years of experience successfully overseeing and managing engagements with Federal and State agencies.

Expertise

Ms. Merritt specializes in the content areas of health, social services, and grants management. Her operational skills and management expertise have supported client organizations with work plan development, data management, budget forecasting and monitoring, business operationalization, and logistics support. She is adept at working collaboratively with clients on conference and meeting planning, peer review and grants administration, and qualitative evaluation.

Project related accomplishments include the development and maintenance of a 23 module online grants management training, the successful implementation of multi week peer grant panel reviews, and the execution of multiple meetings, webinars, and conferences.

Clients

Ms. Merritt has served as the Corporate Monitor or Project Director on contracts with clients including the Office of Head Start, and Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation within the Administration for Children and Families, several institutes at the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, the Office of the Secretary’s Office on Women’s Health, and the Office of Justice Programs within the U.S. Department of Justice. For these contracts, she managed project teams and staff resources to ensure the delivery of high quality services, developed materials for dissemination, monitored all deliverable schedules and budgets, reviews and approved invoices, and produced reports.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining IMPAQ, Ms. Merritt was a member of Educational Services, Inc.’s (ESI) Corporate Management Team. As the firm’s business development leader, Ms. Merritt was responsible for tracking new opportunities, leading strategic planning discussions, identifying potential business partners, drafting technical proposals, and developing budgets.

Prior to her time at ESI, Ms. Merritt was a Senior Manager at The Lewin Group, where she specialized in working with State governments and private organizations to improve the delivery of Medicaid services.

Education

Ms. Merritt has a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Public Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare (cum laude) from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
