Ring the Gong

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) awarded IMPAQ the $34.8M Quality Payment Program (QPP) Merit-based Incentive System (MIPS) Customer and Program Support Services task order. During this five-year project, IMPAQ and our partners, Telligen and E4 Enterprise, will provide customer support services for Medicare program clinicians and other stakeholders. Presentations & Publications

IMPAQ Executive Vice President David Baker’s paper, “Patient, Family Member, and Clinician Perceptions of Disclosure of Adverse Events in Labor and Delivery,” was included in a recent Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality report that highlights research on improving patient safety and reducing medical liability.

Jennifer Pooler, Vanessa Hoffman, and Fata Karva have published qualitative findings in the Journal of Aging & Social Policy based on interviews with primary care providers about their perceptions of and barriers to screening adult patients for food insecurity.

Inc. Magazine has recognized IMPAQ on the annual Inc. 5000, a list of the fastest-growing, privately-held companies in the US. This is the second year in a row that Inc. included IMPAQ on the list. Read more about the award on our website press release page.

Congratulations to Zach Miller, who raised more than $3,000 during his annual Paddle for the Y fundraiser, an event aimed at supporting The Y, Youth & Family Services. This year, IMPAQ staff competed in canoe race time trials and Daniel Andresen took home the PAQ Paddle. Learn more on our YouTube channel.

Guido Cataife has joined the AcademyHealth Health Economics Interest Group Advisory Committee. He will help AcademyHealth develop activities and tactics relevant to the group’s members.

Congratulations to Fata Karva, who raised $1,754 through a school supply drive for Safe Shores, a local non-profit that works with and advocates for children who are affected by trauma and violence.
