As we look back on 2015, here are some of our favorite photos from the year.

Pictured above - March: IMPAQ installs a History Wall in the Columbia, MD headquarters office. The wall includes a timeline with events since the company’s inception in 2001. 

 

April: IMPAQ’s Columbia, DC, and Oakland offices participate in the American Heart Association’s National Walking Day. The offices walked a combined total of 116,884 steps.

 

April: Dr. Jacob Benus presents during Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.

 

May: IMPAQ International Development staff members at the Society for International Development (SID) Washington Chapter Annual Conference. ​

 

June: IMPAQ staff members participate in the 2015 AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting.

 

September: The Oakland office participates in the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk. The team raised more than $800.​

 

October: Columbia office staff members participate in the Baltimore area Heart Walk. They raised more than $10,000.  

 

October: (First) Dr. Jaime Meza-Cordero ​and Ms. Lauren Lochocki surrounded by schoolchildren on a site visit for the Child Labour Elimination Actions for Real Change (CLEAR) program. (Second) Members of the Mothers and Village Savings and Loans Groups sing and dance to welcome them to the school where they conducted focus groups with various committee members.

 

October: During IMPAQ’s annual Wellness Day, the company provides a healthy lunch, acupuncture, massages, flu shots, and other wellness support to staff.​

 

November: Ms. Justine Wagner (R) and Ms. Melinda Warth (L) present their poster “Completing the Quality Puzzle: The Impact of Medicare FFS Data on Provider Performance Results in Oregon and Central New Mexico” at the 2015 American Public Health Association’s (APHA) Annual Meeting & Exposition.

 

November: Dr. Raquel Sanchez presents “Career Pathway Development: An Analysis of Social Networks as a Strategy for Transformative Change in Community Colleges” during the Association for Public Policy Analysis & Management (APPAM) 2015 Fall Research Conference.​

 

November: IMPAQ Corporate Social Responsibility program provided to staff a free hands-only CPR training, taught by the Howard County Fire Department.

 

November: Dr. Rekha Varghese presented her poster, “Descriptive Evaluation of Healthy Howard’s Community Care Team: A Care Transition Program,” at the Gerontological Society of America Annual Scientific Meeting in Orlando, FL.​

 

December: IMPAQ sponsors and attends the 4th Bay Area Senior Health Policy Forum in Oakland, CA.

 

December: IMPAQ staff members gather for the bi-annual Staff Meeting. 

 

December: Ruth White comes to speak to staff during the inaugural event of our Experts Present Series. ​

 

December: Dr. Lanlan Xu presents “The Impact of the US Senior Risk Reduction Demonstration on Health Risk Behaviors and Self-Rated Health Status” at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
