IMPAQ International is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the Research, Measurement, Assessment, Design and Analysis (RMADA) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
With this IDIQ, IMPAQ joins a federally approved list of select businesses to provide design, implementation and evaluation of a broad range of programs and service delivery models. These models will be used to test their potential for reducing expenditures for Medicare, Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and uninsured beneficiaries while maintaining or improving quality of care.
“With the substantial work that we have done evaluating payment reform, healthcare service delivery, and the implementation of the ACA, we are well positioned to add value through RMADA,” said Dr. David Baker, IMPAQ’s Chief Program Officer.
The RMADA IDIQ is a multi-year, multi-function contract with a maximum value of $7B over the life of the contract. The contract will offer immediate access to evaluation, research and implementation services from certified industry partners. This is a new IDIQ, created to respond to the expanded needs of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
“IMPAQ understands the significant implications of this award,” said IMPAQ’s President Avi Benus. “RMADA will give us an opportunity to build upon our strong relationship with CMS, and continue to provide insight to evaluate and improve healthcare.”
This innovative contract vehicle addresses how new reform under the ACA has redefined the way the Federal Government, U.S. citizens and the Health industry approach and conduct research in this area.
