IMPAQ International announced that Mr. Roman Ponos has joined the company as Vice President, International Development. In his new role he will lead the company’s efforts to consolidate and expand its growing international development portfolio, while also managing IMPAQ’s ongoing global projects.
Mr. Ponos joins IMPAQ with over 20 years of progressive, results-based management experience, including global business development, project management, technical assistance, human resources and overseas operations with donors such as the United States Agency for International Development, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and the UK’s Department for International Development.
Prior to joining IMPAQ, Mr. Ponos most recently served as Vice President of Business Development at CARANA Corporation, an international economic development consulting firm.
“I am very eager to leverage IMPAQ’s experience, and the depth of their expertise to help enhance and grow the company’s International Development Division,” said Ponos.
“I have watched IMPAQ grow exponentially over the last 13 years, and have seen the quality of the work they do. This is a dynamic company with a vision for the future, especially as it relates to International Development. So, I am looking forward to helping make that vision a reality,” he added.
