Process Evaluations to Support Program
and Impact Evaluations
IMPAQ has conducted process evaluations of numerous government-funded entities to assess the fidelity of their implementation of demonstration and existing workforce and health programs and implementation of evaluation designs. IMPAQ staff members have conducted site visits using structured interview protocols and have developed detailed process maps and work flow diagrams to document program implementation at the sites being evaluated.
Qualitative Research Methods
Our qualitative research capabilities and experience has included the use of individual and group interviews, focus groups, and content analysis to support the collection and analysis of qualitative data. We have also conducted benchmarking studies to identify best practices and lessons learned from other government organizations and the private sector – both domestically and internationally.
Research Impact
Depending on a project’s requirements, IMPAQ often combines its strength in quantitative data collection and analysis with qualitative data collection and analysis procedures to develop a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the program or policy we are investigating. The richness of the qualitative data we collect enables us to provide our clients with a broader understanding of the program’s impact than quantitative data alone would be able to provide.
