Good News @ IMPAQ

The Baltimore Business Journal has named IMPAQ as one of the fastest-growing woman-owned businesses in the region. The list includes 25 companies ranked by 2014-2015 revenue growth. IMPAQ's revenue grew almost 30 percent between 2014-2015, giving us the highest yearly revenue on the list. In the article, Sharon Benus explains that IMPAQ has grown so quickly because of the company’s emphasis on “hiring and retaining the highest quality researchers who do the best work in the industry.”

David Baker has been appointed to the University of Maryland Baltimore County-Shady Grove Industrial/Organizational Psychology Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is made up of industry leaders from the consulting, nonprofit, and private sectors, who support the program curriculum, students, and faculty.

This past week was the First Annual IMPAQ Lip Sync Battle Royale at Union Jacks. Twenty IMPAQ staff attended and four teams competed, raising more than $430 for breast cancer vaccine research, in partnership with Climb For Hope. In fourth place, It’s Hard, performed Total Eclipse of the Heart. In third place, Analysis by Paralysis performed You Gotta Fight For Your Right To Party. In second place, #Red102 (formerly known as Leanne & The Mississippi Queens) performed Hey Ya! by Outkast, and the winner with a passionate rendition of Sinead O’Connor’s Nothing Compares To You was Liz Gall and her One-Girl, All Girls 90’s tribute band. Dan Kaplan would like to thank everyone who came out, donated, and performed.
