Resources for Food Security Screening
Ten million adults aged 60 and older in the United States are at risk of hunger or are food insecure, meaning that they lack access to enough nutritious foods to lead a healthy, active lifestyle. Through our research studies and technical assistance, IMPAQ is supporting policymakers and practitioners in identifying and addressing the issue. With the AARP Foundation, we have created a resource guide and toolkit to help incorporate food security screening and referrals in primary care settings.
To watch a video about the issue and to access the resource guide, visit our Resource For Food Security Screening page.
