Project Updates

IMPAQ’s report on entrepreneurship in low-income areas was recently published by the US Small Business Administration (SBA). The report, co-authored by Dr. Marios Michaelides and Dr. Neha Nanda, can be found on the SBA website.

IMPAQ is collaborating with the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products, Office of Science, Statistical Research Branch on a series of seminars. On November 3, IMPAQ is presenting the seminar “Ito’s lemma and its applications to population dynamics.”

Presentations & Publications

IMPAQ staff will be delivering a significant number of posters and presentations, and hosting several round-table discussions, during the Association for Public Policy Analysis & Management (APPAM) Annual Fall Research Meeting, the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting and Expo, and the American Evaluation Association (AEA) Conference next month. Earlier this month, Dr. Neha Nanda co-presented “Alumni Doing Good through Applied Research” during the Florida State University’s Center for Demography and Population Health’s 50th-anniversary celebration.

Other News

Thank you for all your recent donations toward our hurricane relief fundraisers. Because of the generosity of our staff and our community, we have raised more than $12,000 for the Red Cross to support the Hurricane Harvey, Irma, and Maria relief efforts.
