IMPAQ International Vice President and Chief Research Officer Dr. Ilene Harris will present on our Medication Therapy Management work during the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy Annual Meeting, taking place March 25-28 in San Diego, CA.

Symposium - Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Updates: Transforming Service Delivery through Research and Innovation

During this symposium, speakers will discuss recent research to evaluate and provide recommendations on enhancing MTM, review initial findings of the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) Enhanced MTM Model, and share best practices for leveraging MTM services to improve health outcomes and reduce health care costs. 

From 3:55 PM - 4:55 PM, Dr. Harris will present "Innovation: Updates on the CMMI Enhanced MTM Model: A Review of Years One and Two." This presentation will review the role of CMMI and the rationale for the Enhanced MTM Model (eMTM). The presentation will share information related to model performance measures that are used to monitor model implementation, as well as methods for determining, and results of, plans’ performance payment eligibility from year one of the model.
