IMPAQ is proud to attend the 2016 National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) Winter Policy Forum from February 18-19 in Washington, DC.
The annual Forum serves as the premier NASWA event for state workforce agency administrators and other workforce agency professionals to hear from and examine current economic conditions in the U.S. with national experts in the field. There will be discussions on the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), the legislative outlook, and other important issues facing policymakers and practitioners.
Founded in 1937, NASWA is a national organization of state administrators, and their staff, of the publicly-funded state workforce system, including the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), employment services, training programs, unemployment insurance, employment statistics and labor market information. The mission of NASWA is to enhance state workforce agencies' ability to accomplish their goals and their statutory roles and responsibilities.
