IMPAQ Vice President and Chief Research Officer Dr. Ilene Harris and Senior Research Associate Jennifer Pooler will present two posters at the upcoming International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG) World Congress, taking place July 23-27 in San Francisco, CA.
Jennifer Pooler will present the poster, “Screening Older Adults for Food Insecurity During Check-Ups: What Do Health Professionals Think?” on Monday, July 24 at 1:00 PM in West Hall during the Health and Social Services Assessments and Interventions session. Ms. Pooler co-authored the presentation with IMPAQ researchers Vanessa Hoffman and Fata Karva.
Dr. Harris will present the poster, “Understanding Global Influencers of Generic Drug Use Among Older Adults,” Dr. Harris co-authored the presentation with IMPAQ researchers Jennifer Howard, Gavriella Frank, and Zippora Kiptanui, along with Richard Hansen and Jingjing Qian from Auburn University. On July 25, join Dr. Harris for her presentation during the Long-Term Care and Assisted Living II session at 11:30 AM in West Hall.
Over 6,000 professionals in gerontology and geriatrics are expected to attend the World Congress in San Francisco. The theme, “Global Aging and Health: Bridging Science, Policy, and Practice,” will bring representatives from medicine, nursing, social science, psychological science, finance, policy fields, and other disciplines to address the latest approaches to improving the quality of life of the world’s older adults.
