Early Grade Reading in Francophone Africa: A multi-country comparison of assessment tools, data, and program design” on March 9 from 3:00-4:30 PM at the Sheraton Atlanta, 1, Capitol Center (North Tower). CIES was founded in 1956 to foster cross-cultural understanding, scholarship, academic achievement and societal development through the international study of educational ideas, systems, and practices. The Society’s members include over 3000 academics, students, practitioners, and policymakers from around the world. The CIES Annual Meeting is a gathering of Society members and the interested public for an academic research conference devoted to scholarly and practical exchange as well as debate and networking.
