IMPAQ is proud to present and be a Gold sponsor at the Washington-Baltimore Chapter of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (DC-AAPOR) & Washington Statistical Society Summer Preview/Review Conference on July 18 in Washington, DC. Survey Research Associate Ms. Mousumi Sarkar will present “Cross-Cultural Instrument Development and Testing: Lessons from India and Rwanda” at 8:40 AM during the Cross Cultural Survey Methodology session. 

Ms. Mousumi Sarkar

Ms. Sarkar works with associations, lobbyists, political campaigns, community groups, and local, state and federal government agencies to inform and evaluate programs and policies. She has almost 20 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative research, including work at the U.S. Census Bureau. She has designed, implemented, and directed both long and short-term large scale, multi-modal quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation projects. She has also analyzed and reported the data collected for multiple audiences.


DC-AAPOR is the local chapter of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR). A community of researchers, academics, and other professionals engaged in the methods, applications, and findings of public opinion research and survey methodology, DC-AAPOR provides an exciting forum for discussion and debate about methodological, ethical, and substantive issues related to a range of research topics.
