On April 12, IMPAQ President Dr. Adaeze Enekwechi will present Advancing Precision Health by Addressing Social Determinants of Health during the Institute for Informatics’ (I2) second annual scientific symposium, Precision Health: Patients to Populations. Join Dr. Enekwechi at Washington University to learn about the value of integrating social determinants of health into our approach to precision health.
Dr. Adaeze Enekwechi is the President of IMPAQ and is based in Washington, DC. Dr. Enekwechi has strategic and tactical oversight over research, technical assistance, and technology services across all practice areas at IMPAQ including health care, workforce development, social programs, education, and international development. She is a health services researcher and a healthcare policy expert. She served as a former head of Health Programs at the White House Office of Management and Budget under President Obama.
Washington University created I2 to provide an academic and professional home for informatics science and practice. I2 spans the School of Medicine as well as partnerships with the School of Engineering and Applied Science, the Institute for Public Health, the Brown School, the Olin School of Business, the Health Systems Innovation Lab and Center for Clinical Excellence at BJC HealthCare, and the Cortex Innovation Community. The institute engages in innovative research, workforce development, and informatics service delivery to target a variety of critical areas of need.
