Panel Discussion

Social Determinants of Health

We are proud that IMPAQ’s President, Dr. Adaeze Enekwechi, has been selected as one of five panelists to moderate in a roundtable discussion, entitled “Addressing Social Determinants of Health: Recent Innovations, Remaining Challenges.” In this session, five experts will discuss social factors such as economic stability, housing, and food insecurity, all of which have been shown to play a significant role in health outcomes such as life expectancy, infant and maternal mortality rates, and prevalence of preventable diseases. The panel brings together nationally recognized leaders from providers, insurers, consumer advocacy, and the public sector to explore innovations in public-private partnerships to address social determinants of health.

Dr. Enekwechi’s fellow panelists include:

  • Anand Shah, MD, MSHP, Vice President at Kaiser Permanente
