Mr. Andrés Romualdo Presents at the SIOP Annual Conference

IMPAQ Research Analyst Mr. Andrés Romualdo will co-present “Advancing Teamwork Through Value Stream Mapping” at the 31st Annual Conference of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) in Anaheim, CA on April 14 from 1:00 PM – 1:50 PM. Mr. Romualdo will present with Dr. Alok Bhupatkar, Senior Human Capital Consultant at C2 Technologies, Inc.

The presenters will discuss how they complement Value Stream Mapping, a tool of the Lean methodology, with Team Task Analysis, a team-based methodology in Industrial Psychology, to show how researchers can improve business processes.

Mr. Romualdo has experience in process improvement methodologies, specifically in Lean/Business Process Reengineering. He currently supports the redesign and creation of state and local government business processes by collaborating with their staff to create solutions based on their needs. Prior to his work at IMPAQ, Mr. Romualdo formed a deep understanding and working knowledge of the Transtheoretical Model of Behavior Change. This knowledge allows him to gauge staff’s readiness to change in developing process changes. In addition to his work at IMPAQ, Mr. Romualdo is currently pursuing a M.A. in Applied Sociology at University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
