Ms. Eileen Poe-Yamagata

Eileen Poe-Yamagata (M.S., Public Policy and Management, Carnegie Mellon University) has over 20 years of experience working on a wide range of complex social policy research and evaluation projects.  Her work primarily focuses on employment and training programs operating within the public workforce system and programs targeting juvenile offenders, victims and at-risk youth.  Ms. Poe-Yamagata has extensive experience managing and directing projects that assess and evaluate program impacts, implementation, and best practices and promising approaches.  She is skilled in engaging and maintaining stakeholder commitment to a research presence, critical to selecting sites and implementing demonstration programs, ensuring the integrity of random assignment procedures, and data collection.

For the U.S. Department of Labor, Ms. Poe-Yamagata currently serves as the Project Director for Evaluating the Accessibility of American Job Centers for People with Disabilities and a Feasibility Study and Evaluation of Non-Traditional Occupation Demonstrations.   She is also currently serving as Project Director or Senior Advisor for the Feasibility Study of Using Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) and Workforce Data Quality Initiative (WDQI) Data for Consumer Reports, evaluations of Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant programs including the Arizona Sun Corridor Get Into Energy Consortium (ASC-GIEC) and the Arizona Advanced Manufacturing Institute for the Maricopa County Community College District, the Community College of Baltimore County Cyber Security Program and SC Accelerate as well as an evaluation of the Workforce Innovation Fund (WIF) grant program, Virginia VETEC.
