The Mid-Atlantic Comprehensive Center uses IMPAQ’s event feedback summaries, as well as our year-end evaluation reports, for ongoing continuous improvement. The information gives the Center and the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) an overview of the Center’s performance, including each year’s accomplishments and challenges. It also assists the DOE with program monitoring and policy.
Each year, we produce a year-end evaluation report that blends results of staff and constituent interviews, document reviews, surveys, and project case studies. Throughout the year, we design and analyze participant surveys to provide ongoing feedback on the quality, relevance, and usefulness of the Center’s technical assistance events.
The evaluation draws on our expertise in formative and summative evaluation and experience in evaluation of educational programs and policy, as well as our content knowledge of Comprehensive Centers, which comes from our leadership of the National Evaluation of Comprehensive Centers. Our evaluation team brings many years of experience in formative and summative evaluation using quantitative and qualitative methods.
