In an effort to expand the range of employment support services available to Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income beneficiaries, the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act of 1999 addresses a number of barriers that disability beneficiaries encounter related to getting and keeping work. The Ticket To Work Program allows beneficiaries to obtain vocational rehabilitation services, employment services, and/or other support services from an Employment Network (EN). It also establishes agreements with ENs to provide such services.
IMPAQ is developing tools that will improve the ENs ability to help individuals with disabilities return to work by connecting them with potential employers. We are combining administrative, survey, and other types of data with the latest methods in pattern recognition and anomaly detection, while leveraging our experience to build tools that will maximize EN efficiency and productivity.
Our team includes senior researchers, analysts, and economists with decades of experience in mixed methods research, disability analysis, labor economics, policy analysis, and administrative data.
