IMPAQ International conducted a scan of student agency practices implemented by networks funded by the Raikes Foundation as part of their Middle Shift Learning Network (MSLN) schools. The primary objectives of the scan was to help the Foundation understand the state of the field of practices related to student agency in Middle Shift Learning Network (MSLN) schools and to provide information regarding the evidence base supporting the student agency supports and practices already in place within the network. The research team conducted a survey and interviews of key informants from the MSLN schools, and conducted a literature review and synthesis of the evidence base for the practices the schools are employing.
