Social and Emotional Learning Experts at the American Institutes for Research to Share High-Quality Research, Practice, and Policies at the 2023 SEL Exchange

Social and emotional learning (SEL) experts from the American Institutes for Research (AIR) will participate in the 2023 SEL Exchange Nov. 7-9 in Atlanta, Georgia. The 2023 SEL Exchange is hosted by the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) and is the nation’s largest forum on SEL.

This year’s conference theme, Leaders as Learners: Building the Village Our Children Need, reflects AIR’s commitment to developing the knowledge, skills, and mindsets that individuals need to be successful in school, in relationships, and in the workforce. The conference also closely aligns with the institution’s belief in fostering equitable pathways for children, youth, families, and communities to thrive through generating, applying, and sharing evidence.

AIR-affiliated presentations will cover various topics, including adult SEL, measuring SEL implementation, and sports-based SEL. AIR experts will also participate in the conference’s poster sessions, highlighting research partnerships in Illinois, Missouri, and Nevada.

Sessions featuring AIR experts and their work are listed below (all times are in ET). Learn more about the conference and the full program on the SEL Exchange website.
